In autumn, the university will open students' hall. ECIP installs over 240 PC workstation to three computer rooms on the 5th and 6th floor.

The three computer rooms in Shijonawate change to new cyber system for education. The system has 80th Windows XP workstation and 56th PowerPC G5 OSX with many softwares for creating digital contents.

We came into Linux World Expo/Tokyo as one member of the KNOPPIX community.
We run a booth of KNOPPIX and distributed any kinds of KNOPPIX CDs.

The 2th mechanical craft contest was held in the course of "Creative Design Engineering" on Department of Mechanical Engineering. We recorded aspects by digital movie camera, and opened dijest movie.

New computer room opens in Shijo-Nawate Campus. The room named "No.5 seminar room" has high spec 72th computers with Windows XP and many learning softwares: MATLAB, LabVIEW and etc.
