Within each of the departments in the five different fields of study (Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Science, and Engineering Science) that make up the Faculty of Engineering, students are provided with an environment in which they are able to learn in a way that suits their own respective interests. Students in each field will be exposed to a curriculum in which they develop basic academic abilities while acquiring in-depth knowledge and skills in fields that range from the basics of engineering to cutting-edge technologies. This faculty produces engineers who can perform successfully anywhere in the world.
Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering
Expending great effort in order to cultivate engineers who are able to actively participate in a wide range of Electrical and Electronics fields
Electrons are the basis of all electrical phenomena. Electrical and Electronic Engineering is an area of study that allows its students to understand the behavior of these extremely small electrons and freely control their movement. These techniques have given rise to computers and are also being applied to the field of robot control. The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering produces human resources that will pioneer the future, and offers study in the fields of "electronic and optical devices," "electrical and electronic circuits," "measurement and control," "information," and "electrical energy."
Department of Electro-Mechanical Engineering
If you study Mechatronics, you can build robots that will bring your dreams to life.
The ultimate machines are born from Mechatronics, the fusion of Mechanics (machinery) and Electronics (electrical and electronic equipment). These machines are referred to as robots. The curriculum of this department includes in a well-balanced manner the fields of “electrical and electronic engineering”, “machinery”, “measurement and control”, and “information and computers”. Students enrolled in this department will obtain solid expertise and techniques both in the hardware and software fields, thus becoming highly trained professionals who will encounter no difficulties in exercising their profession in best environments upon graduation.
Department of Mechanical Engineering
Performing a deep and broad study of mechanics – the core element of production
Can you envision a workshop without any machinery? Throughout the ages, machinery has been the most important technology supporting industry. In other words, mechanical engineering is the foundation and at the same time the most representative field of engineering. Experts from all the fields of mechanical engineering are assembled in this department and teach their students, one-on-one, about topics that range from the basics to advanced applied technologies.
Department of Environmental Science
Environmental science—the challenge of unlimited research. Educating people of deep knowledge and a wide variety of skills
This department strengthens comprehension and awareness regarding various environmental issues that face the Earth and mankind, and we also offer a practical education structured around three courses of study that deal with the development of environmentally friendly chemicals, and the implementation of biomaterial and technology that effectively utilize energy.
The department seeks to develop human resources who have a high level of environmental awareness and are able to actively participate in these broad fields.
Department of Engineering Science
Experience the marvels, depth and the satisfaction of working for a greater cause, while developing a scientific way of thinking
Students of this department will be engaged in a full study of the natural sciences – the intellectual properties of mankind – starting from the basics. While acquiring expertise in physics, mathematics, chemistry, and related fields, students will familiarize themselves with the theory and techniques (modeling and simulation) necessary to utilize this expertise. The department develops the students' abilities to investigate and analyze elements of the world around them as natural phenomena, starting from the origins, and develops human resources that can actively participate in broad fields including industry and education.
